If you are paying for services your current provider are disconnecting, then you will need to either stop or adjust your automated payments to them for those discontinued services.

For any service transitioned to SaveMyService for ongoing support, SaveMyService will honor the time left in your payment period. For example, if you paid for an annual email subscription at the end of December 2024 to cover 2025, SaveMyService will provide service for you through December of 2025 and invoice you for an annual payment due at the end of December 2025 to cover all of 2026.

SaveMyService does not keep your credit card data on-file. SaveMyService works with Stripe as a payment service provider who will manage your payments and payment information.  Stripe is a well-known and trusted financial service provider with thousands of business customers like SaveMyService and millions of end-users like yourself.

Yes, electronic payments (ACH or Credit Card through Stripe) are recommended, but we (SaveMyService) will have an option where you can pay by check.  However, there will be a check-handling processing fee.

Yes, SaveMyService works with Stripe to facilitate customer paymentsThrough Stripe, you can automate either ACH or credit card transactions for the amount and frequency that is appropriate.  When you receive your first invoice from SaveMyService, you will have the option to set up an automated payment with Stripe.

SaveMyService has a number of telecom-based services that they offer now and will be expanding in the near future.  Currently they are focused on transitioning your service on a like-for-like basis and give you the opportunity to explore additional services once your current services have been transitioned.

Yes.  Assuming you sign-up with SaveMyService, and once your current services scheduled for discontinuance are transferred, SaveMyService will have products available for you to transition other services as well.

Depending on your current products and pricing, you may see a nominal difference in price for the services you are paying for.  For cases where you are receiving free services as part of a bundle, with your sign-up, we will be moving you to SaveMyService’s equivalent service for their standard price.  For example, basic email is $2.50/month/address billed annually.  Since your email service is no longer part of a bundle and now a la carte, SaveMyService needs to charge for the service.

Yes, there are free emails out there and you can get one.  When you use a free email client like Google or Microsoft, they use the content of the emails you receive and send to feed their search algorithms. This drives individual accuracy in their online advertising business (Google Ads), however has a direct impact on privacy. How an individual feels about this email model differs, however, having a paid email account is a way to ensure your email content is not used for alternate business purposes.

Currently your email box(s) is part of a product bundle.  However, Vexus Fiber will no longer be offering email services and therefore not able to include in a bundle for free.   Vexus Fiber is recommending SaveMyService to provide continued support for your current email box(s) since they are discontinuing email services beyond April 1st,2025. If you choose to establish an email address with an alternative service provider other than SaveMyService, you will no longer be able to use the email address you use today. Your email domain (examples: usfamily.net, nts-online.net) is being transferred toSaveMyService. If you would like to keep your current email address, you can sign up with SaveMyService. By opting in, you won’t need to inform anyone of a new email address and you won’t need to update your internet accounts (for example, Amazon, Netflix, WalMart, etc.) with your new address. You can sign up at savemyservice.com/vexus-email

No. You can go through the process to transfer your disconnected services on your own.  If you sign up with SaveMyService, we will take care of moving your disconnected DNS, Hosting and Email services for you.

Vexus Fiber has determined we will no longer support discontinued services beyond May 1st, 2025.  SaveMyService will work with us to transition your services to SaveMyService before that date.  If you don’t sign up with SaveMyService, you will be responsible for replacing your discontinued services.

If your domain is being transferred, but your website is not hosted with Vexus Fiber, it is likely you will not need to do anything.  If you have been notified that your web hosting service is going to be discontinued, SaveMyService can move your web site if you sign up with us.  Once you sign-up, SaveMyService will notify you of the transition date/time in advance so you can be ready to test it once it moves.  We don’t expect any interruption or differences once your website moves.

Once you sign-up to have SaveMyService transition your domain, there will be one more authorization step you will need to complete in the transfer of the domain.  You will be contacted ahead of time with the expected transition date and a timeframe when you will receive the request to authorize the transition of your domain.  All other steps will be performed for you.

The DNS change is typically instantaneous, resulting in minimal to no perceived outage. Although there is a propagation delay across the DNS network for the change to become effective globally, the old settings will remain functional during this period (usually only a few hours), allowing end-users to continue accessing your website without interruption.

Yes. You can go through the process to transfer your domain name, email address and stored email with other email hosting services.  If you sign up with SaveMyService, we will take care of all these steps for you.

Vexus Fiber has stated May 1st, 2025 as the disconnection date.  If you sign-up with SaveMyService, they will work with us to move your mailbox before the deadline.  If you have not taken action to sign-up with SaveMyService or move your services to another provider by that date, your email will no longer work after May 1st, 2025.

If you use Webmail, you won’t need to do anything other than a password reset. If you use a local email client (Outlook for example), you may need to do a few minor updates to your email settings in addition to a password reset, but this will be a lot less work than changing to a new email address. In all cases, SaveMyService will have easy-to-follow instructions for your password reset and any other changes you may need to make.

For some, there will be no differences in how you use your email services since some of the disconnected accounts will stay on the same physical platform.  In those cases, the only change will be the business and invoicing relationship with SaveMyService rather than Vexus Fiber.  For those whose email box server presence will change platforms, the Webmail interface may be slightly different.  If you are using a local client in these cases (like Outlook), you should not see a difference.

From a financial perspective, you will need to either stop or adjust your automated payments to Vexus Fiber for disconnected services.  In addition, you will need to establish payment arrangements with SaveMyService through Stripe.  SaveMyService will provide instructions for establishing your payments with Stripe once your service with them has been established.

If you sign up with SaveMyService, your email address won’t change and anyone who communicates with you won’t even know you moved email service providers.  If you change your address, you will need to notify those who contact you through your current address, that it will no longer work.  In addition, any online websites (Ex. Netflix, Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc.) that you’ve used your current email address to establish an account will need to be updated with your new email address.

No. You can go through the process to transfer your disconnected services on your own.  If you sign up with SaveMyService, we will take care of moving your disconnected DNS, Hosting and Email services for you, or helping you find the right Internet and Phone Service provider.

SaveMyService is a new division of Exactpoint Technologies, a consultancy company working in the telecom industry for over fifteen years.  Vexus Fiber has been working with ExactPoint Technologies for multiple years and will be working with SaveMyService during the transition period.  The employees of SaveMyService each have over 25 years of experience working with Email, Internet, Phone Service, Hosting and DNS technologies.  You can count on accountability and reliability in transitioning and supporting your services long-term.

Vexus Fiber has made the business decision to discontinue some technical services. In order to give you a path to continued service, they have recommended SaveMyService to help with your transition. As with any discontinuation, there must be a deadline. This date is May 1st, 2025. It will take time to transition your account, so please don’t delay your decision to keep your current services active with SaveMyService or by choosing a different service on your own.

If you do nothing, you will be responsible for downloading and storing any mail you still have on the email server.  You can sign-up with SaveMyService and we will retain your current email address and move your existing mail on the your Vexus or Velocity email server.  If you move to a new email address with a different provider, you will be responsible for moving all your saved emails to your new mailbox if you want to keep them.

You should have received an email communication from Vexus Fiber letting you know they are discontinuing some or all of your technical services due to changing business conditions. In the communication you have received from Vexus Fiber, they have referred you to SaveMyService so we can help you seamlessly transition your services. There are potentially two pieces for you to consider.
